SEN Connect and AJH Consultancy

Testimonials

AJH Consultancy Training

Angela & Stacey have been working with the Family Action Medway Small Steps team for the past two years, presenting various SEN workshops to our parents/carers on our behalf.  As a service, we have always found them to be professional, extremely knowledgeable, and full of empathy for our clients, ensuring everyone is welcomed and heard which is reflected in the feedback we receive.  The Small Steps team have learnt a great deal from them, including ideas and strategies to impart to our families and colleagues. Personally, I very much look forward to the workshops facilitated by them and enjoy the fantastic working relationship we have. Their contribution to the success of my service is very much acknowledged and appreciated.

She is supportive, proactive and extremely professional, quickly becoming part of the Kingsdown team. Stacey has such expertise in all SEN matters and she used this to improve staff’s knowledge and skills in how to support their children. Stacey and Angela are the ultimate professionals and have a fierce advocate for children with SEND. They are knowledgeable and demonstrate compassion and understanding regarding relationships with pupils, parents and other professionals. Referrals, annual reviews and paperwork is thorough, timely, efficiently completed and relentlessly chased up and followed to its conclusion. As a headteacher, they have provided staff with quality training and advice to ensure robust strategies and procedures are in place to support our children and families. I would highly recommend SEN Connect.

Families

"We engaged SEN Connect's services when seeking a specialist school for our son and navigating his EHCP application. Her SEND expertise and insights into local services were very helpful. Stacey's patience, kindness, and genuine connection with our son greatly eased our journey. Her guidance was crucial in making informed decisions, always with our son's needs at the forefront. We deeply appreciated her professionalism and sincere support. We highly recommend Stacey to anyone embarking on this journey. Thank you!" - Selina Man Karlsson

'Asking SEN Connect to observe my son and provide a report for the school he would be starting was invaluable. It has allowed the school to be able to understand his needs prior to starting, and they were able to put measures in place ready creating a smooth nursery to school transition.

The report that they provided was thorough, knowledgeable and understanding. They really have the children's best interest at heart, and the report certainly showed this, with the emphasis of support that was needed for my son as an individual. I cannot thank them enough.'
